Cleartrip now accepts debit cards and international credit cards

Online travel portal Cleartrip just announced the launch of an upgrade to its payment system which now accepts debit cards from HDFC Bank and Axis Bank. That’s not all, it also announced that they are now accepting international credit cards from Visa and MasterCard. Most travel portals and airline websites in India had stopped accepting international credit cards because of the increasing number of fraudulent credit card transactions using international credit cards.

Cleartrip has also integrated security measures like Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode to ensure maximum security for its users. They also promise to start accepting debit cards from other banks like ICICI as soon these banks support debit card payments for online transactions.
