ICICI Bank and American Express Launch Two Credit Cards Jointly

ICICI Bank and the world leader in financial services American Express today launched two new credit cards for the Indian consumer. The two cards are “ICICI Bank Ascent American Express Card” and the ICICI Bank Business Ascent American Express Card”.

The ICICI Bank Ascent American Express Card is targeted at the premium segment offering accelerated rewards and exclusive privileges. The ICICI Bank Business Ascent American Express Card is targeted at entrepreneurs offering them the business advantage program featuring savings on business related expenditure.

These credit cards offer an exclusive rewards program up matching up to 6% of the transaction value. It remains to be seen if this is in the form of cash back or just rewards. The companies also said that they have tied up with Yatra.com, Provogue and Taj Hotels to provide a comprehensive rewards program with insurance and other travel benefits.
